Brian's Story

The Hospitilization

In 2024, Brian was diagnosed with cancer. Week after week, he watched the same nurses rotate through 12-hour shifts.

He noticed everything. How their scrubs looked fresh at 7 AM and worn by 7 PM. How the fabric didn't move with them. How pockets were in the wrong places.

These were people saving lives in clothes that weren't built to last a single shift.

Brian had spent his life in garment manufacturing. He knew quality. He knew what it cost to make things right.

And he knew healthcare workers deserved better.

From that moment, he decided: he would build scrubs the right way.

50 years of expertise

Half a century in garment manufacturing meant he understood thread count, seam reinforcement, how fabric behaves after 100 washes, and why most scrubs fail after six months.

He sourced premium materials and created a world-class fabric. Engineered performance blends for clinical demands. Obsessed over pocket placement and waistband durability.

Every decision filtered through one question: Would this be good enough for the nurses who inspired it?

The answer had to be yes.

Brian’s experience inspired a profound sense of gratitude and a desire to give back. He committed to designing and developing the most comfortable, stylish and durable line of medical scrubs to honor those heroes who dedicate their lives to caring for others.

The product

Brian built Peelz on a principle that sounds simple but rarely gets practiced: make the best product you can, then price it honestly.

Just premium fabrics, expert construction, and a fair price that reflects what it actually costs to build something right.

He wanted healthcare workers to know: this is worth it.

The Legacy

Brian passed away before he could see how far Peelz would go.

But the company he started—the principles he built it on, the quality he refused to compromise—that didn't disappear with him.

When you buy Peelz, you're joining a legacy.

Carrying it forward

I'm Colby. I was Brian's right-hand man. When he was gone, I made a choice: carry this forward exactly as he built it.

Every fabric we source, every stitch we spec, every pricing decision—it all runs through Brian's filter: Is this good enough for the people who deserve it most?

The nurses who inspired him. The doctors working overnight. The healthcare workers who show up every day and make the system work.

They don't need scrubs marketed at them. They need scrubs made for them.

That's what Brian built. That's what Peelz is. That's what it will remain.

I appreciate your support as I carry forward my mentor’s legacy and honor the healthcare workers who cared for him.

Built for heroes. Carried forward for Brian.
